Lamb Ascension Engine & the Ara assistant

A client-acquisition platform for local service businesses that I designed, built and run in production.

• Problem: small businesses lose time finding leads, chasing contact info and following up.
• What I built: prospect discovery via the Google Places API, fit scoring, contact enrichment, a call-ready pipeline, email campaigns and calendar booking.
• Ara: an in-app assistant using OpenAI tool calling that drafts tailored outreach and hands tasks off to automated agents. Every first contact waits for owner approval.
• Reliability: a background worker for follow-ups and reply sync, SQL migrations, and a read-only "Sentinel" checker run in GitHub Actions CI and after deploys to catch state and do-not-contact regressions.

Shopify storefront development

Freelance work building and maintaining Shopify stores and websites for small businesses since 2021.

• Themes: Liquid theme customization, product and collection pages, and app setup.
• Performance & UX: responsive, mobile-first layouts in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with lead-capture forms and cleaner checkout paths.
• Creative: site graphics and ad creative in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Approach: turning what a client needs into working pages, then measuring what users actually do.

"Dylan Builds AI" content pipeline

An automated pipeline that produces and publishes YouTube Shorts about building with AI, from script to upload.

• Pipeline: idea and script generation, AI-generated visuals, voiceover, editing and scheduled publishing.
• Iteration: reviews past Shorts and improves hooks, titles, visuals and pacing on each run.
• Why it matters: it shows how I wire AI tools into a repeatable, hands-off workflow.
